Sapphire at School is committed to protecting your privacy. In order to complete your order or to satisfy your request for information, you will be asked to provide us with certain personal information. We use SSL encryption, which encrypts your personal and bank information as it is transferred over the Internet. All information gathered by Sapphire at School for the use of supplying funds for your children’s meals is kept confidential and never, shared, sold or given to any third party company for any reasons. If your School is outside of the US, application data might be replicated to a server in the US for purposes of application servicing, troubleshooting and improving the system. Application service providers might have access to user information in order to maintain and/or service the application but will abide by the Privacy & Security policy. All transactions are verified with the bank or credit card company in real time using SSL encryption, returning an order confirmation message only if the issuing bank authorizes it. We never store credit card numbers on our system.

In order to be sure that information transferred between your browser and the Sapphire at School server is secure, it is important to be aware of the security information available to you through your browser. You can also ensure security by checking the URL line of your browser. When you enter the secure area of our site, the first characters of the site address will change from “http” to “https”. User Agreement
I understand by participating in Sapphire at School Deposit Fund Payment Program, I am agreeing to be bound by the terms of this User Agreement. I understand that I may review this Agreement in the future by selecting the User Agreement link on the left. From time to time, and at any time, I understand that the terms of this User Agreement may be changed and that I will be bound by the changes until I terminate my participation in the program. I agree to review the User Agreement form frequently to ensure that I understand and agree with all changes.

Student Deposit Funds
I understand that the student Deposit Funds are created and maintained by my local school district, including all associated funds within the Deposit Funds. Sapphire at School provides the web portal and allows me to view and make payments into the Deposit Funds. Sapphire at School does not have an ability to create, modify, or otherwise remove said Deposit Funds at the local school.

IN NO EVENT WILL SAPPHIRE AT SCHOOL OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, EVEN IF YOU HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Some state or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental, consequential, or special damages, or the exclusion of implied warranties or limitations on how long an implied warranty may last, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Your Responsibilities
I agree to participate in the Sapphire at School Lunch Program. This program provides school lunches to students in participating schools. By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, a accept that my child will receive lunch at school based on the pre orders placed on the portal, or food items ordered at the school terminal where my student order food items from the program.

I agree to view and/or pay to my child’s lunch program through the Sapphire at School Internet site. I understand online payments are completely optional. Check payments may be made out to Sapphire at School and mailed to our corporate office I am responsible for the selection and use of my User ID and Password. I understand that I do not give up any of my rights to file a complaint with my school district. This User Agreement authorizes Sapphire at School to process an electronic bank and credit card transactions.

During the first use of this service, you will need to provide your child’s school of attendance. You agree to keep your Password and profile information confidential to prevent unauthorized access to your account(s) and this important information. If you forget your password, you may click on “forgot my password” on the main page of the website. This link will provide a means to recover your login information. If you permit other individuals to use this service or your password to access your account(s), you are responsible for all transactions they authorize on your account(s). You agree that Sapphire at School is not responsible for your misuse or your disclosure of your password.

When you use this service to pay your child’s Deposit Fund, you are authorizing Sapphire at School to cause a bank or credit card transfer of money from your bank or credit card to Sapphire at School in the amount of you specified through Sapphireatschool.com. Your transactions should appear on the official account statements from your bank or credit card company, as well as your next monthly electronic statement. Your bank may be responsible under banking regulations to provide you with disclosures, receipts, statements, and other communications. If you do not find that your bank or credit card statement lists your transactions or you have any questions about errors or unauthorized transfers, stopped payments, fees imposed by your bank or credit card company, or your limitation of liability, you should contact your bank or credit card company immediately.

You may cancel this service at any time by emailing support@Sapphire at School? and request the removal of your account. To protect the security of the parent accounts, you will be asked to verify your identity before the account is removed.

In the event that a student would leave the school, and the Sapphire Lunch Program account needs to be closed, the parent may request a refund of remaining funds that will be granted at the closure of the account.

Fees
By signing up for Sapphire at School, you agree to pay a transaction fee each time you make an online payment into your students’ lunch account.There are no fees for viewing your students’ lunch account activity or browsing the website. The fee for processing an online transaction (also called an “Internet Convenience Fee”) is 4%.

The fee for an NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) bank return is $20.00. Our bank charges us each time we submit an ACH debit that is returned NSF, our policy is to pass that fee on to the person or persons that created the ACH debit.

The fees are used to maintain the website and cover the costs of processing. We require a high level of security for our services and the secure communication layers. These fees go towards the additional encryption methods we must employ to prevent fraud and information theft is all very expensive. If you are unwilling to pay a transaction fee when making a payment, please do not attempt an online payment.

Email Policy
As a strict policy, Sapphire at School does not sell, trade, rent or otherwise share your email address with any other company or third party for any reason.
