Miracle for Kids, an Irvine-based organization, is dedicated to improving the lives of children stricken with life-threatening illnesses. The organization specifically focuses on supporting children and their families with financial issues during the treatment period, and providing funds to entities that support or conduct research focused on eradicating childhood diseases, and it also serves as an advocate for families in need who are combating terminal diseases.
CHOC
For more than 45 years, Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) has been steadfastly committed to providing the highest quality medical care to children. Affiliated with the University of California, Irvine, their regional pediatric healthcare network includes a state-of-the-art 238-bed main hospital facility in the City of Orange, and a hospital-within-a-hospital in Mission Viejo. CHOC also offers many primary and specialty care clinics, over 100 additional programs and services, a pediatric residency program, and four centers of excellence.
JDRF
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF) is the worldwide leader in funding research to cure type 1 diabetes, an autoimmune disease that strikes children and adults suddenly and lasts a lifetime. JDRF is the leading founder and advocate of type 1 diabetes science.
FATHER SERRA'S FOOD PANTRY
Father Serra's Food Pantry is located at the Mission San Juan Capistrano and helps feed approximately 2,500 people a month.
